FIrst Journal

I engjoy turning wood because it happens so quick. When I'm wood carving, it taker so long to get anything finished. Although the Chinese ball took some six hours to complete. My wife thinks I should get a life.
I'm retired from the city of Riverside, California. I was the Silk Screen Printer of all the street traffic signs. We cut the fancy ones on a computer-cutter using colored Scotchlite.

Before that I was a printing instructor(silk screen and offset) at the Men's Prison at Tehachapi, Ca. and then at the Women's Facility at Frontera, Ca. The intersting thing here was that my staff was composed of three of the Manson Girls. One was my clerk and one was my Offset Press Operator printing the institution's newspaper.

It was once told in Symmyrnea... That whoever would talk to pine barks in the forest, write the mystery on the sea with ancient woods and take those faces to the isolated rocks on an island, would find the road to OEGGEM. And...(the end is the beginning)

It's a pleasure to see the work of a fellow woodworker on dA. (I'm about 20 miles away in Redlands.) And thanks for that :+fav: for Bowl Afloat. You're one of the few who would take time to notice such a work. Thanks for that. And welcome to dA.
